    • @anondoges built their first HYTOPIA game using Claude AI and ChatGPT for assets. They created a Tower Defense meets TFT multiplayer brawl; from concept to playable in just hours. This shows how accessible game development on HYTOPIA has become, especially when combined with modern AI tools.
    • @0xPateI shared their experience building a flappy-style game in just a couple of hours, highlighting HYTOPIA’s versatility:

      “What I’m learning is the possibilities with this engine are endless, you can truly develop any type of game… I think from a larger view, there is potential to build out replicas of popular mobile games as well!”

      They’re already planning three more games, demonstrating the platform’s ability to support rapid prototyping and diverse game genres beyond traditional voxel experiences.

With just 4-5 weeks of development time and no traditional programming background, they’ve built a legitimate game experience using HYTOPIA SDK and AI coding tools. This is what we mean when we say “anyone can build.”

    The Church of Smeeology is coming soon to SkyGarden – mysterious, intriguing, and definitely something to watch for.

    When we launched our SDK Alpha in February 2025, we weren’t sure what to expect. Seven months later, the numbers tell a story we’re incredibly proud to share with you.

    Games That Are Winning

    Our games page shows the variety creators are building. Here are some standouts:

    • SkyGarden [Open Beta] has 38K+ plays since launching in August. It’s an open-world farming sim meets MMORPG built by SkyGarden Studios, showing what’s possible when talented developers get access to our tools.
    • Steal My Brainrot captured 30K+ plays with its viral concept. Sometimes the best games are the ones that just make you laugh.
    • Cookie Clicker brought the classic idle game format to our platform with 16K+ plays, proving that great gameplay transcends graphical style.
    • Frontiers, our flagship MMORPG built by co-founder ArkDev, features quest systems, NPC pathfinding, persistent progress, and multiple interconnected regions. It’s a demonstration of what a single developer can accomplish with our SDK.

    Real Developers, Real Games

    Our Creator Fund doubled from $125,000 to $250,000 in September due to demand exceeding expectations. We’re offering up to $25,000 per studio along with engineering support, marketing assistance, and a preferred revenue split.

    In August, we welcomed IROC Studios to our Creator Fund; creators of Game Store Tycoon with 110+ million Roblox plays. They’re building Pawtopia on HYTOPIA.

    Then in September, Retro Shrimp joined our Creator Fund to develop Hyper Ball Arena exclusively on HYTOPIA. These are Roblox veterans with over 1 billion combined plays across their games. When developers of that caliber choose your platform, it means something.

    In addition to our announced studios, we have multiple to-be-announced studios still in the design, testing, and development stages of their games.

    But it’s not just established studios. Over 50% of the first games on our platform were made by people who’d never coded before. That’s the democratization of game development we’re fighting for.

    What’s Next?

    Seven months ago, we launched with a SDK and a vision. Today, we’re approaching 150K+ users, nearly 2 million minutes of playtime, and a growing library of games spanning every genre imaginable, from tactical FPS (VoxFire) to kart racing (KARTLAND) to MMORPGs (Frontiers).

    But the numbers only tell part of the story. The real story is the developer who published their first game ever on our platform. The Roblox veteran who chose HYTOPIA for their next title.     SkyGarden is led by Shrimp, a seasoned full-stack developer bringing over 7 years of enterprise experience along with extensive experience in creating Minecraft plugins and managing custom Java plugins for servers, including notable work on Dungeon Realms. His plugins are still actively used by server owners today, demonstrating the lasting impact of well-crafted game development.

    The team also includes Sebu, a talented Minecraft Artist, builder and modeller who’s responsible for SkyGarden’s stunning Hub world and intricate models designs. Sebu brings a wealth of experience in Map creation and sells custom models while building a following through engaging build videos.

    Currently in alpha testing, SkyGarden represents an innovative, community-focused experience that thrives on HYTOPIA. This cozy farming and island building MMORPG invites players to grow crops, raise animals, cook food, and most importantly, hang out with friends in a welcoming, social environment.

    The game’s core loop centers around growing crops, collecting resources, and expanding one’s personal island. What makes SkyGarden more engaging is its value for players’ time: crops continue growing even when you’re offline, and your soil plot and resource production capacity scale with your land size, creating meaningful progression that doesn’t demand constant attention.

    Players gain experience through harvesting, resource collection, and cooking. The food system adds delightful depth, cooked meals can be consumed for experience or sold at the market for extra coins. Each level brings valuable rewards and unlocks new crops, recipes, and land expansions, with more content planned beyond the current level 30 cap.

    SkyGarden features a competitive leaderboard system with regular competitions where players can earn rare and exclusive items. The achievement system offers additional island boosts that enhance crop production and help discover rare seeds.
